Call to Book - Couples massage at Blackbird isn't about rose petals and champagne. It's about giving two people who matter to each other the same skilled therapeutic work, in the same room, at the same time. Each person gets their own dedicated therapist and their own customized session — one of you can go deep tissue while the other does Swedish, one can focus on shoulders while the other wants full body. Your therapists coordinate timing so you start and finish together. It's one of our most requested bookings, and once people do it together, it tends to become a regular thing

Couples massage is a shared session where two clients receive simultaneous massages from two therapists in the same treatment room. The sessions run independently — same space, same time, completely separate customization.
How it works:
You'll both be welcomed into the couples room together. Each therapist does a brief intake with their own client — pressure preference, problem areas, anything to avoid. From there the sessions run in parallel, timed to end together.
What to expect:
Same professionalism and quality as any individual session at Blackbird. You can talk during the session or stay quiet — entirely up to the two of you. Available in 60 and 90-minute formats.
Who it's for:
Partners, close friends, mothers and daughters, siblings — anyone who wants to share the experience. Popular for anniversaries, birthdays, Valentine's Day, and honestly just a regular Tuesday when you both need it.
Booking notes: Couples sessions require both therapists to be available at the same time, so we recommend booking further in advance than a standard appointment — especially for weekends and around holidays.
Modality options: Each person independently chooses from Deep Tissue, Swedish, Sports, or Deep Thai Mobility. You don't have to match.
Add-ons: Available for one or both people — hot stones, aromatherapy, scalp treatment, and more. Add them individually at booking.
First time? No experience necessary and no pressure to talk or perform. If one of you is new to massage and the other isn't, your therapists adjust accordingly — nobody's session gets compromised.
